Our world is crazy. No question about it. How do we know? Because here at the RiP Legacy Fund we have all been knee-deep in it. Our team consists of some of the highest-level professional soldiers and combat advisors the U.S. has to offer. Outside of the “boot” dynamic, we have all been forged through hardship. Some of the hardships we have individually faced will be shared in future blog posts. We want you to know exactly what drives us to operate The RiP Legacy Fund; what makes us tick; and why we dedicate our free time to making the world a better place. For now, I will leave you with our mission statement and a brief chat to further answer why.
Mission 001 – “The Beginning” We are utilizing the precious gift of life provided to us by those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, to interdict where evil attempts to prevail over good. It is to safeguard the innocent and provide hope. To preserve the goodness in the world so it continues to flourish and dominate evil so that people can live well, peacefully supporting one another…
The RiP Legacy Fund
You see… The RiP journey has been a long time coming. Over many years we have used the RiP to remind the world of the sacrifice and bravery we witnessed in battle. We have used it as a symbol to discuss the pain and suffering the police, fire, EMS, soldiers, or any other responder / service member’s survivors have felt and been forced to endure. The one thing that should bring all of us together is the cold reminder that life is short and we only have a small time here. A short time to make an impact for our children, family, friends, community, country, and civilization’s future. Those brave heroes who sacrificed everything and left early… They gave up their ability to hold their children; meet their grandchildren; experience a long and rewarding life; embrace those who love them and need them the most in times of strain or adversity… Because of this and many other reasons, we choose to honor that gift they gave all of us. We choose to carry their torch and continue on their mission. We will act and operate humbly on their behalf and make sure we use this gift to do good. Their sacrifice fuels a never-ending mission to make ourselves and the world a safer and better place every day. Onward!
